A Monthly Nature Meet-Up for Curious Kids & Adventurous Spirits

Step off the beaten path and into nature’s classroom! Once a month, our group gathers at a local creek, trail, or state park to explore, play, and learn together in the great outdoors.

Each Forest Friday is a chance to slow down, soak up the seasons, and connect with the world around us, through hiking, nature journaling, scavenger hunts, games, and plenty of muddy, joy-filled discovery.

Guided by curiosity, kids develop a deeper appreciation for the environment, build friendships, and gain confidence in wild spaces. No two meet-ups are the same, because nature always has something new to teach us.

Come dressed for adventure. Wonder guaranteed.

Learning Beyond the Classroom,

One Adventure at a Time!

Fridays just got a whole lot more exciting! In this once-a-week enrichment class, students hit the road to explore the world around them through hands-on, minds-on field trips.

Each Friday, we’ll journey to inspiring destinations like museums, science centers, planetariums, aquariums, historic sites, and more. These real-world experiences deepen classroom learning, spark new interests, and open young minds to the wonders of our world.

Every Friday is a new adventure—so grab your backpack, bring your questions, and get ready to explore!

REGISTRATION WILL OPEN SOON!

Is Your Child Ready To Participate In Our Program?

At The Learning Grove, we’re all about joyful learning, curiosity, and connection! To help your child get the most out of their experience, we ask that families take a moment to review the following readiness guidelines. We understand that some days are smoother than others (for little ones and big ones), but in general, students should be able to:

  • Be fully potty trained (including knowing when to go and managing toileting needs independently)

  • Wash hands and dress themselves with basic independence

  • Say goodbye to their grown-up and join in the fun

  • Show interest and willingness to participate in activities

  • Let us know if they need help or have a concern

  • Move from one activity to another with minimal support, even when things shift a little

  • Take part in group activities without needing constant one-on-one attention

  • Stay with the group and play safely without wandering off

  • Use the restroom, wash hands, and get dressed with independence

  • Work through challenges without using physical or hurtful language

We’re here to support each child’s growth with care and compassion and these guidelines help create a safe and positive space for everyone to learn and thrive together!
