"We had the pleasure of having our daughter in Miss Katrina’s class last year and so happy we found her. I have seen so much growth in my daughter over this past year and not just in academics, but in her confidence and maturity as well. She loves going to school and having a small group has given the opportunity to learn catered to their specific needs. They’ve all become so close and are true friends!
Throughout the year they put on 4 art shows combined with performances from the students with singing, dancing, costumes and all!
Miss Katrina has mailed cards to the kids over summer and met up at a park to hang out. How many teachers do that?!

"During a year when our children needed in person education, stability, and a fun safe learning environment the most, she showed I up in our lives in the best way. My son joined her school pod in the Fall of 2020 when he was struggling in every subject, due to distance learning through the public school system. He was welcomed with warmth, kindness and enthusiasm from day one, and soon began to excel beyond what we could have ever hoped. He looked forward to going to school for the first time ever each day. Katrina is highly organized and kept up with curriculum standards like it was effortless, and still made time for creative fun activities beyond what was expected. It is a wonder how she was able to juggle teaching responsibilities across different grades/age groups, zoom meet ups with home school reps, extra curricular activities, and COVID standards successfully all at the same time. She displayed care and got to know each child on a personal level while tailoring activities and creative lessons that helped each child individually. “I have had the amazing opportunity to see first hand how amazing Miss Katrina is. She taught a homeschool program to my daughter who was in first grade. She was one student in a class of 8. It was the first time I had ever done something like this (homeschool) and was so grateful that there was an
opportunity for my child to grow during a very tough COVID year for all.
Miss Katrina might just be the best teacher out there. I say this with true conviction. Each and every
day she showed up on time ready to greet each student. Every day I dropped my daughter off for school, I
would see Miss Katrina standing there with open arms waiting for a hug! My daughter would run to her and be excited to start another day with her. Not only that, but she welcomed them ALL with hugs and
positive words of encouragement I remember a time when my daughter had a tough time tying her shoes. She sat her down and helped teach her how to do it. My daughter loved going to school and couldn’t wait
to learn more. Miss Katrina’s classroom was spotless and clean and she brought organization to a
whole new level. The projects she did with the kids were incredible. I had never seen these types of projects ever be done and so it taught me so much as well. Even at the age of 42!!
She taught both 1st graders and 3rd graders at the same time. It wasn’t a challenge to her or at least it never showed. She managed it perfectly. She also never gave up on them. She did anything and everything in her power to make sure they had a great education, expected mannerisms, and had complete control over the classroom. Our kids were fortunate to star in a few plays throughout the
year. They consisted of memorizing their parts, singing group and solo songs, as well as dancing. All
written and composed by Miss Katrina. She was so positive and encouraging during rehearsals and
always made sure the kids knew that they were nothing short of amazing and that they were going to do great. I left every play with tears, because it was a beautiful thing to witness from a mother’s perspective.
